Unknowns & Notes

Open questions and observations to address during the IA review.

Unknowns

  • Pilot Newsletter — do these need to live on the site? Could we just pull these out as events?
  • Facebook feed — include or omit?
  • Why Rotary video — dated. Can we get rid of it?
  • Are they okay with losing their search bar?
  • Is there a rising leaders equivalent program?
  • What other Donate projects do they have?
  • They've used a lot of docs for events — need to discuss needs there.
  • Do we need club locator / district page / international page links?
  • Do they have other socials aside from Facebook?
  • They have articles posted by author pages (filter view)
  • Do we have contacts for the different initiatives to help gather / organize / develop / review content?

Notes

  • Impact pages: Perhaps add type indicator (Youth, Local, Intl?). Assess which need an initiative page vs. which can show up as events.
  • Initiative page depth: Kingdom for Kids is a good model — key details, overview, gallery, donate button, featuring past builds, words of gratitude.
  • Donate: Where appropriate, initiative pages and events can have their own donate CTA. The Donate page puts everything in one place for convenience.
